Neuropsychiatric conditions and traumatic brain
injuries, apart from physical and neurological damage,
is likely to result in significant behavioural, cognitive,
emotional and social consequences. Our TBI services
offer innovative and proactive rehabilitation
environments, which maximises our patients’ ability to
retrain functions such as sequence of movements and
speech and language skills. In addition, our clinical
input also help with reduction of unwanted behaviours.
Typically our patients will have acquired a brain injury as a result of an accident or a stroke leading to frontal lobe damage or early onset progressive nervous system dysfunction, which may derive from hereditary and sporadic conditions such as Huntington’s disease. With the right support and our proactive rehabilitation environment, our aim is to return patients to the community or a suitable care pathway placement.
